Firefold Partitions Fire Performance

in paragraph A12(b) of Approved Document B, "Fire Safety, to
the Building Regulations, 1991. Care should be taken that the subsequent
site decoration does not compromise this rating. Where applied finishes
other than standard are specified, advice should be sought from
you local fire officer.
Firefold partitions have been tested to BS476: Part 8: 1972 and
offer half-hour or one-hour fire resistance. The attitude of local
fire authorities to fire resistance and suitability may vary from
one area to another and it is the responsibility of the specifier
to assure himself that the product will be acceptable to those authorities
in the selected location.
